An indigenous grape of Herzegovina, Blatina is fruity with aromas of plums, backed by lots of spice, and hints of herbs. Good acidity, low in alcohol and dark in color.  This Blatina comes from Vinarija Citluk, a modern winery which sits just 20 miles from the Adriatic Sea. Partialy aged in 2500L Slavonian oak. It goes well with lamb, roast veal, beef, game, fish - grilled and fried, smoked beef and cheese.
