High West A Midwinter Night’s Dram – Act 14 is a blend of straight rye whiskeys aged between four and ten years. The whiskeys were initially matured in a combination of American oak barrels and Amontillado, Oloroso and PX Sherry casks, before being finished in Ruby and Tawny Port casks.

This latest release celebrates the 20th anniversary of High West Distillery. It is described as one of the most ambitious expressions of A Midwinter Night’s Dram to date, offering exceptional richness, complexity and depth.

Act 14 opens with notes of wild strawberry, blackberry preserves and fig, followed on the palate by blood orange, cherry fruit leather, cinnamon-dusted plum crumble and apricot scone, culminating in a finish reminiscent of a jam thumbprint cookie and spiced chai.
