In its continued pursuit of offering the greatest American whiskey, Michter's is proud to release the 2026 edition of its US 1 Toasted Barrel Finish Rye. Beginning with fully matured US 1 Kentucky Straight Rye at barrel strength, the whiskey is aged for an additional period in a second custom barrel made from 24-month air-dried wood and toasted to exacting specifications. The result is a remarkably rich, complex rye with notes of toffee, black walnut, and cherry complemented by pronounced spice and beautifully rounded oak.
