Bolivia's high-elevation winemaking tradition dates back to the 16th century. Today, nearly 500 years later, we are honored to bring the fine wines of Aranjuez Winery & Vineyards to the United States. We will be introducing Aranjuez to a few select cities in the summer of 2016, so sign up to follow us on our journey.
Perched at well over a mile of above sea level, the grapes take in the intense Bolivian sun during the day and rest during the predictably cool nights. These ideal conditions, combined with water from the clean mountain rivers descending from the steep Andes, result in unique flavor profiles characteristic of high elevation grapes. Building on this natural bounty and nearly 500 years of history, Aranjuez has mastered the craft of winemaking in the high elevation valleys of Tarija, Bolivia.
