This is a one of a kind wine. Sourced from 50 year old Kakhuri Mtsvane vineyards this is a sparkling qvevri wine. The base wine is fermented in qvevri but with no skin contact. They then do a secondary fermentation in the bottle method chempenoise. For two years it is aged on the lees and the bottle periodically in special racks. The wine is then disgorged and enclosed. Fresh, delightful, elegant and one of a kind this wine is a winner on many levels
