For months, pineapples were an obsession and we tasted countless varieties to finally find our star: the incredibly aromatic Victoria pineapple. Carefully peeled and cut by hand, the pineapples' rinds are infused in our white rum and then further distilled, while the fruit itself is infused in our dark rum. The blend of both creates Plantation Stiggins' Fancy Pineapple.
Sharing a passion and curiosity for unconventional experiments with ageing techniques, we swapped casks with the world-renowned Teeling Irish Whiskey distillery. We aged our rum in 200-liter oak barrels that previously held peated single malt Irish whiskey, to create a limited edition of Plantation Rum's famous pineapple delicacy: Stiggins' Fancy Smoky Formula. This funky and flamboyant spirit offers flavors of fresh roasted pineapples and notes of cloves, underlined with a subtle smoke finish all the way from Ireland.
