From field to bottle, MAXIMO is family-crafted by third-generation mezcaleros in a fully traceable process with no shortcuts and no compromises. The spirit is handmade by our family in micro-batches in our home state of Oaxaca from 12-year-old Espadín agave plants grown in our own fields. The result is an ultra-premium mezcal with nuanced layers of flavor and aromatics. MAXIMO is crystal clear, with subtle hints of smoke, an aroma of citrus, honey, and vanilla, and a smooth yet complex finish with just the right amount of lingering heat.
